Time Out: Are You Living Well?

As I write this, I am enjoying some time outdoors. It’s in these quiet, alone moments that I reflect on who I am, where I am, and choices I make. Although I still have so much to learn, I have reached the point I no longer worry. I clung to guilt, stress and pressure like a badge of honor. I tried to control people and things that are uncontrollable. I somehow come to another turning point in my life where I am confident in letting all that go.

It’s not about age, it is about READINESS. I once read that if you hold fast to grudges and drama and hate, you only hurt yourself. That is true. But to let it go is hard. I am choosing to make today the day I let it all that stress go….

I saw a friend who I had not seen in many years. She is going through an incredible loss. It hit home for me that any day can be our last. If today was your last day, are you living it well? Or, are you letting someone hurt you, berrate you, belittle you? Are you being a bully TO YOURSELF?

If you feel like you are depressed or down, reach out. I will be here to talk. I am not perfect- far from it. BUT I KNOW I AM WORTH IT. YOU ARE WORTH IT. Let’s make the journey to happiness together.
